There are no secrets in training students. It is definitely a combined effort between the student and the instructor. A student with the right perspective and good attitude taught by a dedicated and well-experienced instructor is a perfect combination producing desirable result – a Professional Pilot.

There are 3 most important areas in training students.

First is ATTITUDE. Knowledge and skills can be learned overnight but attitude requires tremendous effort, time, and patience. Attitude lays the foundation of the character traits of professional pilots. The formation of good flying habits, attaining right knowledge, self-discipline, sound judgment, and airmanship can only be accomplished if the foundation is firm. Nevertheless, the job responsibility, interpersonal relationship, teamwork, leadership, safety, initiative, and other elements crucial to this profession rely on the attitude of the individual. Students must be trained to fly safely, become a good global citizen, and an asset to their future employers.

Second is KNOWLEDGE. The aeronautical knowledge learned during ground school is the key to situational awareness, sound judgment, and self-discipline. We train students not only to pass the required written examination but to have the right knowledge useful throughout their flying career.

Third is SKILLS. Teaching students to attain exceptional skills requires precise and continuous practice. We still believed on the “stick & rudder – flying on the seat of your pants” principle. Regardless of what type of airplane they’ll fly in the future they’re not going to go away with it.
